Description:

Cache Valley Women’s Center at the Lodge provides the ultimate quality in women’s health care while giving you the comfort of a beautiful home-like environment. Our practice consists of four doctors, four physician assistants, and approximately 25 staff members who work as a team to ensure our patients receive the best care.
We provide a fun, fast-paced, and rewarding work environment for our staff, and we are looking for an energetic applicant to join our team.
We are seeking a part -time Medical Assistant or CNA to help support our OB/Gyn team. Our ideal candidate is available to work 8 am - 5 pm, 3 days per week, with the ability to pick up shifts as needed, and is looking to commit to long-term employment. As a member of our team, they will greet patients as you prepare them for their visit with one of our providers. They should also enjoy interacting with patients and have a positive and friendly personality. They must be reliable, energetic, a team player, willing to learn new skills and have an eye for detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Take and record patients’ vital signs
  • Prepare patient for exam
  • Prepare medications
  • Administer injections
  • Phlebotomy as needed
  • Perform other clinical and clerical tasks in the office
  • Handle blood specimens and other bodily fluids appropriately.
  • Communicate with patients, doctors, and other medical staff.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Certification as a Medical Assistant or CNA
  • Proficiency in patient care
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Experience with EHR systems and vital sign monitoring
  • Experience in working OB/GYN specialty beneficial
  • Spanish speaking preferred
    Job Type: Part-time
    Pay: From $15.25 per hour
    Expected hours: 24 – 36 per week
