We are seeking a highly experienced Medical Assistant to join the team and provide critical administrative support to our healthcare professionals and patients, allowing them to focus on delivering exceptional patient care.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 2 year of experience as a virtual assistant or in a similar administrative role.
  • Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be comfortable answering non-clinical medical questions.
  • Willing and able to work US hours.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Google and/or Microsoft Office Suite
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology a plus.
  • Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to learn new software and adapt to changing priorities.
  • A positive and professional demeanor with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own time effectively in a remote work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients: Via phone calls as well as respond to all chat inquiries.
  • Communication: Draft and send emails to patients with appointment reminders, test results, or other relevant information.
  • Answer patient calls professionally, addressing basic inquiries and directing complex issues to the appropriate healthcare provider.
  • Make outbound follow-up calls to pharmacies and other healthcare offices as needed.
