Medical Biller/Collections Specialist

We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Medical Biller/Collections Specialist in Davie, Florida, 33328, United States. The job function is in the healthcare industry and requires on-site work.

• Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner
• Perform full cycle billing for individual accounts, including invoice generation and follow-ups for payment collection
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer credit records
• Resolve customer inquiries related to billing and payment
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions based on their status
• Work with insurance portals, such as the Medicaid website, to facilitate billing and collections processes
• Learn and efficiently use specific software, such as Central Reach, for autism care
• Ensure compliance with Level 2 background clearance before starting the role
• Utilize skills in Accounts Receivable (AR), Appeals, Authorizations, Billing Functions, Medical Billing, and Insurance Billing to execute job responsibilities effectively.
• Must possess knowledge and experience in Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Experience in Appeals is necessary for this role
• Ability to handle Authorizations is required
• Proficiency in Billing Functions is essential
• Demonstrable experience in Medical Billing is a must
• Prior experience in Insurance Billing is required
