REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of a one (1) year Medical Device Reprocessing (MDR) certificate from an accredited educational institution
- Being an active member of the Medical Device Reprocessing Association of Ontario (MDRAO) would be considered an asset
- Minimum of six (6) months of experience in a relevant area.
- Previous experience in MDR department an asset.
- Capable of strenuous activity
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrated excellent organizational skills, communication skills and ability to multitask and prioritize
- Relate in a respectful, tactful and sensitive manner with patients, staff and physicians
- Flexibility to modify routines as required to manage changing priorities
- Ability to adapt to new technology and a fast-paced environment.
- Strong multitasking and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in both written and verbal communication.
- Participates in departmental quality assurance activities
- Maintains patient records in accordance with department guidelines
- Adheres to the Hospital’s confidentiality policies
- Provides feedback as required, responds to constructive feedback and takes necessary action to improve performance
- Performs other duties as assigned by higher authority and which are unplanned, or of a transient nature and are consistent with the job purpose and duties.

- Must have demonstrated ability to meet the attendance standards of the Hospital
