Description:
Aspen Medical seeks expressions of interest from experienced and qualified Medical Director to join our team located in Makassar, Indonesia.
This role ensures that healthcare laws and regulations are reviewed and implemented in daily practices, facility or department budgets are monitored, and strategies are developed for continuous process improvement of the hospital operations.
Contract Details:
Contract commitment: minimum. 12 months
Relocation to Indonesia required.
Expat compensation packet: TBD

REQUIREMENTS:
- Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution; board certification in a specialty field preferred.
- Must hold an MD degree from an accredited medical school.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare.
- Prior experience as a medical director/leader for at least five years.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee operations for patient care by the Medical Department according to the rules and regulations of the Indonesian Medical Council and all other federal and local laws, rules and regulations, including Medicaid/Medicare, state and county programs.
- Establish measurable performance expectations (productivity, quality of care, timely completion of medical records and patient care, charting and other administrative duties, etc.), provide supervision, coaching, and counselling, and evaluate and discipline providers and other Medical Department staff.
- Participate in quality assurance (QA) and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities, including regularly scheduled meetings, clinical audits, and peer reviews, which will be monitored by the CEO and jointly reported to the board.
