Description:
MEDICAL DIRECTOR-SKILLED NURSING FACILITY
The UPMC in Central PA SNF program is seeking a Medical Director to oversee our employed providers and provide clinical leadership in one of our affiliated skilled nursing facilities. This position is employed by UPMC in Central PA and contracted out to our partner facility for facility-level medical director leadership.
PROFESSIONAL SKILLS:
- Board certified in Geriatrics and/or Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Experience with high acuity rehab patients
- 3-5 years experience as a practicing physician with SNF experience
- Must be comfortable working with and training CRNP/APPs
- Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate patient care
- Team oriented with ability to provide personalized patient care and demonstrate positive clinical outcomes
