Description:

Serve as an internal point of contact for medical processes and interface with other areas at local level such as:

  • Interactions with HCPs and HCOs
  • Grants, Donations.
  • Data Generation
  • Transparency Policies
  • Ensures all medical team members are trained and adhere to the Medical GxP processes.
  • Serve as an internal point of contact for medical GxP processes and its interface with other

areas at local level such as: Interactions with HCPS and HCOs, Grants& Donations, Data Generation and Transparency Processes.

  • Identifies issues of noncompliance in GxP medical processes and helps identifies solutions to

share with management as needed

  • Facilitates change management to drive alignment of stakeholders to common goals and best practices
  • Be point of contact for Medical Audits.
  • Support therapeutic areas and pharmacovigilance in operational activities.
  • Ensure close collaboration with Legal and Business Ethics to maintain ethical scientific engagements – ensuring adequate registries of medical activities in accordance to Ipsen´s and local legislations and audits preparations

Patient Support Programs (PSP)
- Coordinate and manage the subsidiary’s PSP, which includes compliance with local regulations regarding interactions with patients and supervise the proper reporting of Adverse Events or Adverse Drug Reactions and Quality Complaints by the Third Party -Vendor.

  • Ensure alignment of the work team (including coordination of the third party - vendor) in the purpose of the strategies so that PSP allows patients to access our therapies, generating impact through patient education and empowerment in the care trajectory of the patient and the Colombian health system.

  • Guarantee the design and execution of strategic and tactical plans in conjunction with the access area, to achieve improvement in the quality of the patient process during all stages of treatment (resolution of administrative-collective barriers).

  • Liaise, individually or throughout a specialized and experienced third party, with enrolled patients to better understand their journey in the healthcare system and to design educative strategies to assist them where deemed necessary.
  • Supervise the creation and management, individually or through a specialized third party of the communication channels with patients, either through a call center dedicated to the Program, e-mails, face to face contacts, or other suitable means to increase the patient’s knowledge about their disease, proper adherence to their prescribed medication and adequate follow-up of their disease management.
  • Supervise the identification of quality and pharmacovigilance incidents related to the patients under the PSP, monitoring of the proposed improvement plans, identification, and mitigation of risks, as well as the generation and monitoring of management reports and compliance with KPIs for each PSP.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Business administration, Pharmaceutical or Health correlated areas degree
  • 2-3 years of relevant pharmaceutical/medical affairs experience in Medical Operations/ Excellence, PSP orDiagnostic Programs preferred, such as involvement, managing projects, optimization process, creatingdashboards, etc.
  • Experience with developing, reporting, and tracking research and medical performance metrics and able to train/develop staff in these areas
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Fluent in Spanish
  • Fluent in English (writing and verbal)
