Medical Field Advisor is responsible for building trustworthy partnerships with oncologists and pneumologists who treat lung cancer patients, meet with customers on regular basis, organize medical education events, develop and execute Medical Strategy. The purpose of this role is to increase understanding and added value of Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine lung cancer portfolio, support reimbursement and launch process through value story discussion, proactive cross-functional internal cooperation and high level of engagement with external customers. An important part of the role is to provide internal and external scientific support, train internal staff to ensure highest standards of brand/therapy expertise in customer facing teams.

QUALIFICATION

  • University degree, Medical, Pharmacy or Life Science degree preferable
  • 4-5 years of previous experience in medical affairs and expertise in lung cancer ideally
  • Experience in developing and executing needed concepts and events
  • Project management skills
  • Strategic thinking
  • Excellent presentation and business writing skills
  • Native local speaker and fluent English knowledge of both spoken and written
  • Driving license type B
  • Strong customer orientation, effective and action driven communication (good communication skills)
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Open, thinking out of the box and flexible agile attitude
  • Proactive and independent, ability to work under pressure and manage stressful situations

Responsibilities:

  • Identify customer universe (TCs) and map the Lung market landscape
  • Building strategic external partnerships with new stakeholders
  • Meet with customers on a regular basis through F2F visits (at least 70% in field), educational meetings, conferences etc.,
  • Gather experts´ insights in lung cancer and share them cross-functionally
  • Develop and execute Medical strategy for Lung cancer portfolio (new products and indications)
  • Increase understanding and added value of J&J IM lung cancer portfolio to ensure that all the patients who benefit more from J&J IM products than from alternatives, will get them.
  • Provide scientific support to internal and external customers in response to clinical interest.
  • Support the sharing of knowledge to internal stakeholders e.g. through provision of trainings to help to ensure highest standards of brand/therapy expertise in customer facing teams.
  • Provide insights around key brands and marketplace themes/trends etc. to CZ MAF team, CVT and CE&B HUB teams to help optimize brand/therapy strategy, decision making on current and future license indications and enable internal and external customers to make informed decisions.
  • Communication of 1L cEGFR value story and building KOL advocacy
  • Driving external Awareness and Adoption for Testing and ensuring Testing Readiness across CEB (Availability and Access
  • Ensure strong collaboration within the CVT
  • Analyze and understand competitive landscape in lung cancer
  • Manage and maintain positive relationship with Key Opinion Leaders.
  • Deliver scientific and medical content for medical advisory boards
  • Act as J&J IM speaker externally
  • Engage in constant dialogue to create value for patients, customers and J&J IM
  • Gather information to support the Market Access department (HEMAR) to ensure our products are presented in an appropriate way so that all appropriate patients benefit from them. To provide HEMAR with the data they require in an appropriate form so that they can develop relevant documentation to support the initial and ongoing access of our products to the stakeholders.
