THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Information Project Team Lead responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the assigned project portfolio within our Medical Information team. This role involves managing client projects and ensuring the delivery of high-quality medical information services in compliance with internal SOPs, client requirements, and regulations. This is a full-time position, reporting to the Medical Information Manager.
The successful candidate will deliver project portfolio objectives, ensuring teamwork, cross-functionality, and productivity within the team. The role also includes managing customer relationships to provide excellent client service and encourage value-based professional conduct. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in science, pharmacy or other scientific discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Medical information role, with supervisory experience, in a pharmaceutical company or Medical Affairs environment.
  • Strong knowledge of medical literature and drug information databases and ability to evaluate and communicate scientific data.
  • An understanding of Industry Codes in Australia and New Zealand with understanding of requirements for safety reporting and experience with Quality Management System, including documentation management.
  • Client management and/or consulting experience is highly regarded.
  • Experience in retail or hospital pharmacy and consulting is preferred, demonstrating your comprehensive understanding of the healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:

SOME KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Lead and support project teams, acting as the primary point of contact for clients and projects.
  • Ensure strategic and technical project outcomes, reports, and presentations meet deadlines and client requirements.
  • Manage client setup, contracts, and ensure reporting of Adverse Events (AEs) and Product Complaints (PCs).
  • Develop strong client relationships to enhance satisfaction, loyalty, and business growth and contribute to client retention through high-quality consulting services.
  • Monitor project activities and provide regular reports according to KPIs and timelines.
  • Support internal and external audits and follow-up actions.
  • Ensure timely, accurate responses to customer requests, meeting industry standards and maintain standard responses in the medical information database.
  • Liaise with clients to resolve inquiries and anticipate regulatory implications of emerging safety issues.
