Novant Health is seeking a Technical Assistant II. Team member is responsible for pre-analytical processing of laboratory specimens, to include order processing, specimen verification, centrifugation, aliquoting, etc. Team member validates and processes specimens delivered to the laboratory, facilitating timely and appropriate specimen preparation for testing. Team member may be responsible for performing phlebotomy. Team member must be able to make decisions and solve problems, recognizing when to involve leadership support. Team member is responsible for ensuring policies and procedures are followed. Team member will advise and assist in the orientation and training of other personnel on equipment and software, as necessary.
