Description:

We are looking for skilled professionals to come join our private laboratory based on Wynyard Business Park, Billingham.
We are a private lab who historically specialised in sexual health have now expanded to cover a full range of pathology testing. Having just won some big exciting contracts we are in the process of bringing in more skilled people to help us expand on our journey and join our teams and potentially head up departments and/or even help with our trainees to put through portfolios depending on peoples experience.

The role duties will include some duties as follows:

  • Prepare instruments prior to testing, including analysers
  • Specimen reception
  • Completion of laboratory sanitation and cleaning standards
  • Administration data input onto bespoke systems and client databases
  • Work towards strict turn around times

Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of duties or requirements for the position. The successful candidate may be required to perform additional tasks as needed to support the laboratory’s operations.
Ideally, you will have a background in a laboratory working environment with a biomedical (or similar) degree.

    We are ideally looking for a full time member of staff to work 5 days across the laboratory opening times of 8am - 8pm , Monday to Saturday. Shift patterns are allocated on a monthly schedule.
    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
    Pay: £23,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
