Description:

WHY OVIVA?

To build a healthier future for all! Our mission is to provide the most accessible and effective care to people with weight-related conditions.
By blending behaviour change therapy with our unique technology and an incredible team of passionate employees, we create affordable and accessible app-based healthcare programmes to tackle conditions such as obesity and Type 2 diabetes.
Our proven strategy has made us an award-winning and the largest digital health provider treating diet-related conditions in Europe. We operate within healthcare systems, including the NHS, to provide people with the medical care they need. We are rapidly expanding across Europe, including the UK, Switzerland, Germany, and now Poland. By joining us, you will be part of an organisation that has treated over 500,000 people to date and continues to scale up.
As we continue to grow, we are recruiting for a Medical Lead to shape and oversee our clinical pathways and ensure compliance within the UK. This role offers a unique blend of direct clinical involvement, leadership, and interaction with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
We welcome applicants seeking 0.4 to 1 FTE, with the requirement to collaborate in our vibrant London office at least twice a month.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee prescribing activities, provide patient management insights, and ensure prescribing efficiency.
  • Collaborate with teams to develop and update key policies, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Support medical complexity clinics and ensure effective knowledge transfer.
  • Develop and implement clinical pathways, update medication protocols, and monitor NICE and NHS developments.
  • Maintain Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards, perform audits, and ensure inspection readiness.
  • Act as PSIRF Investigator and Named Clinician for Adult Safeguarding, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide clinical supervision to nurses, manage complex cases, and establish strong working relationships.
  • Lead evidence-based presentations and expand data-driven insights with BI tools.
  • Engage with external stakeholders, provide clinical insights, and support commercial opportunities.
