Currently we are looking for The Medical Manager who will act as Therapy Area medical expert working in partnership with Healthcare Professionals in activities that help advance disease and therapeutics understanding and AZ business colleagues to provide medical insight and governance to deliver cross-functional brand team operational plans

EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in medicine or related field
• Current familiarity with healthcare environment (rare diseases desired) including opinion leaders, academia, the medical community, patient needs and related dynamics.
• Demonstrated expertise in synthesizing scientific information and communicating it effectively at peer level with HCPs
• Effective and demonstrated communication skills (both oral and written), including English.
• Good project and organizational skills and demonstrated ability to work in a self-directed manner.
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership and teamwork skills.
• Computer literacy
