MEDICAL NEGLIGENCE PARALEGAL
Elite Touch are excited to be working with their well established client who is seeking a Medical Negligence Paralegal to join their busy friendly team.
Key responsibilities to include :
- Providing clients with high quality, proactive legal advice
- Responsible for managing a case load of medical negligence claims. Case load of between 120 – 150 cases
- Managing own time effectively
- Achieving the firms time recording and fee earner targets
- Taking new client instructions and setting the file up
- Screen new enquiries
- Planning the case, gathering evidence and progressing the case
- Investigating and pursuing medical negligence claims
- Instructing medicals and pagination
- Dealing with ATE cover and funding
- Risk assessment of new and ongoing cases
- Advising clients and managing their expectations
- Managing post settlement and file closure procedures
