Description:
OVERVIEW
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Medical Office Assistant to join our healthcare team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office, providing support to both patients and healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
SKILLS
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent Oral and Written Language Skills
- Proficient with medical terminology
- Proficient in clerical and administrative functions
- Proficient with Electronic Medical Records, Microsoft Suite, including data entry and document management.
- Experience in team management is a plus, promoting a positive work atmosphere.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, staff, and vendors.
- Proficient in conducting patient interviews following a templated questionnaire
- Must enjoy and be proficient in working with children with complex needs and their family
- Must be comfortable and like dogs. The practice has therapy dogs
- Additional proficiency in other languages including Arabic or Spanish - reflecting two of the fastest growing populations in the region - would be an a positive but not essential need

- Provide administrative support to medical staff as needed, ensuring efficient workflow within the office.
