Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
  • Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program or a minimum of 2 year experience in a medical assistant role that included medication administration, required.
  • Experience: Previous work in a medical clinic, preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification:
  • BLS/CPR (or earned within 90 days of hire), required.
  • Annual UAP agreement with provider, required.
  • Additional Skills Required: Ability to successfully complete generic and department specific skills validation and competency testing.
