  • Completion of a recognized Medical Office or Medical Administrative Program*
  • Customer service skills and etiquette *
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy *
  • Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability *
  • Self-motivated with a desire to help others *
  • Effective multitasking skills and well organized *
  • Exceptional ability to interact with the public, other clinical staff and healthcare professionals is essential*

Responsibilities:

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Schedule appointments in Accuro EMR *
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage private and confidential information *
  • Collect and apply payments*
  • Triage patients accordingly, including taking of measurements and relevant vitals *
  • Screen and direct telephone calls, relay messages *
  • Accurate and detailed data entry *
  • Sort incoming faxes/mail to appropriate practitioner *
  • Retrieve patient imaging and reports *
  • Filing documents in the Accuro EMR *
  • Cleaning and stocking supplies*
  • Other duties as assigned *
