Description:

Developed over a year ago, the Vancouver Division’s MOA program is evolving to meet the growing demand for MOAs in family practice settings across the City of Vancouver. On behalf of clinics, our Work in Vancouver platform advertises a range of positions, including junior, mid-level, and senior MOAs, as well as clinic managers.

Currently, we are recruiting MOAs for the following family practice clinics:

  • Yaletown Medical Clinic (NEW) - Urgent!
  • Marpole Medical Clinic (NEW) - Urgent!
  • Oakridge Medical Group (NEW) - Seeking English and Cantonese fluency
  • Dr. Christopher Ryan Inc. (NEW) - 2 week coverage
  • Blue Water Medical (NEW)
  • CAYA Health Centre (NEW - part-time evenings/weekends)

  • Medical Office on Victoria and East 51st - Vacation/sick coverage - Cantonese/Mandarin fluency

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Medical office experience, including front desk and administrative roles
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records systems
  • Familiarity with multi-line phone systems
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
    Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual
    Pay: $18.95-$28.14 per hour

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Experience:

  • MOA: 1 year (preferred)

Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients and manage front desk operations, ensuring a welcoming environment.
  • Maintain electronic medical records with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Handle multi-line phone systems to schedule appointments and address inquiries.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including filing and data entry.
