Description:

Real Eyes Optometry is a full scope optometry office and optical that is expanding and looking for a new staff member to join the team. We are in search of a part-time candidate. The office is looking for a motivated and driven team player that is flexible and able to work well with other staff members and patients.
Tasks include: Front desk/reception duties, greeting and checking in patients, billing insurance providers/MSP, answering phone calls and emails, scheduling appointments for patients, optometric pretesting, optical sales including selling eyeglasses, contact lenses & sunglasses, and overall professionalism in a medical office environment.
The applicant should be reliable, detailed-orientated, organized and must be able to multitask efficiently. Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Office) and a moderate words/minute rate is required. The applicant is expected to work mall hours but not Sunday. One year of experience in an office setting is an asset but not required. Speaking Mandarin/Cantonese is an asset but not required. Optical and sales experience are an asset but not required. Health benefits will be available after the probation period is complete.
