We’re currently seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and friendly Medical Office Assistant to join our team and help us maintain a smooth, organized clinic while delivering an excellent patient experience.

POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Medical Office Assistant at Albion Health, you’ll be at the heart of our daily operations. You will work directly with our medical and administrative teams, assisting with patient check-ins, scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and supporting the overall functioning of the office. Your excellent communication and multitasking skills will be essential to ensuring that every patient’s visit is efficient and positive.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required (Medical Office Assistant certification or relevant training is preferred)
  • Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare environment is preferred
  • Proficiency with office software (Microsoft Office Suite, and medical management systems), and Accuro EMR
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • A positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes is a plus
  • Bilingual English and Hindi/Punjabi/Urdu Preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
  • Answer phone calls, schedule and confirm appointments, and manage the clinic calendar
  • Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring all information is updated and processed appropriately
  • Verify insurance information, and assist patients with billing and payment inquiries
  • Prepare and process patient paperwork for check-ins and check-outs
  • Assist with filing, scanning, and organizing patient documents
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure smooth patient flow
  • Manage office supplies, ensuring the clinic is well-stocked and organized
  • Comply with all HIPAA regulations to maintain confidentiality of patient information
  • Perform other administrative duties as needed
