JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Office Assistant to join our healthcare team. Looking for someone who can work both independently as well as in a team setting. Our team is like a family, and we are looking for someone who is a good fit.
Our office handles a variety of different medical needs and practices. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support in a medical office setting, ensuring smooth operations and excellent patient care.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in a medical office setting is preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and electronic medical records systems is preferred
  • Proficiency with office software and phone systems
  • Strong English communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong administrative skills,
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

    Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients warmly and assist them with the check-in process.
  • Manage appointment scheduling and confirm patient visits.
  • Maintain accurate patient records using electronic medical records systems.
  • Handle incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and manage phone systems efficiently.
  • Process patient paperwork and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
  • Assist with billing and insurance verification as needed.
  • Keep the reception and visiting rooms clean and organized
  • Assist doctors with administrative tasks as needed
