JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Office Assistant to join our healthcare team. Looking for someone who can work both independently as well as in a team setting. Our team is like a family, and we are looking for someone who is a good fit.
Our office handles a variety of different medical needs and practices. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support in a medical office setting, ensuring smooth operations and excellent patient care.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience in a medical office setting is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and electronic medical records systems is preferred
- Proficiency with office software and phone systems
- Strong English communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong administrative skills,
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
- Greet patients warmly and assist them with the check-in process.
- Manage appointment scheduling and confirm patient visits.
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic medical records systems.
- Handle incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and manage phone systems efficiently.
- Process patient paperwork and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
- Assist with billing and insurance verification as needed.
- Keep the reception and visiting rooms clean and organized
- Assist doctors with administrative tasks as needed
