QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma required.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures preferred.
- Proficiency with computers and relevant software applications.
- Previous experience with healthcare insurance is a plus.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to plan, organize, and manage information with attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and register patients according to established protocols.
- Assist patients in completing necessary forms and documentation, including insurance.
- Ensure patient and billing information is accurate and up to date.
- Inform patients of office procedures and policies.
- Schedule and manage patient appointments to maintain clinic flow.
- Answer incoming calls, handle inquiries, and transfer calls as needed.
- Collect co-pays and payments; process patient billing.
- Coordinate tests, scans, and external appointments as required.
- Maintain patient records and safeguard confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA.
- Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Perform additional clerical duties as assigned.
