Description:
Alba Medical Group is based across 3 Health board areas including NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, Forth Valley and Lanarkshire providing General Medical Services to circa 77,000 patients. We aim to help communities to live healthy and well by providing high quality, innovative and sustainable primary care services delivered by motivated and engaged teams.
Due to the growing nature of the practice, we are inviting applications from suitably experienced individuals to join our vibrant and motivated administrative team in the role of Medical Administrator/Receptionist within our Lanarkshire practice site – Alison Lea.
As first point of contact for our patients, healthcare professional colleagues and other stakeholders, either in person or by telephone, your duties will include dealing with telephone enquiries, making appointments, processing prescription requests, working in conjunction with our workflow optimisation team to manage actions from incoming mail and assisting patients to ensure they are able to access the right care at the right place at the right time.
We are looking for highly motivated, enthusiastic individuals with excellent communication and organisational skills. Applicants must have the ability to adapt and multi skill in a very busy environment with ever changing priorities. Experience of working within a GP practice or a customer services/front of house role is desirable.
Successful candidates will work as part of an integrated team that works collaboratively and reflexively across these 3 sites, including a peer support network providing enhanced training and development opportunities.
Shift pattern will be 08:30-17:00, Monday-Friday.
To apply, please send your CV with covering letter, by email, to Megan Reid, Site Manager.
