REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Possess a strong knowledge of medical office procedures
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Energetic, with a desire to surpass expectations
- Positive teamwork approach
Responsibilities:
- Greeting all patients and visitors
- Perform patient check in and check out
- Verify patient’s contact and personal information at all visits
- Verify the patient’s insurance and collect any associated co-pays at the time of service
- Answer incoming calls and directs the caller accordingly
- Maintain patient privacy by following HIPAA guidelines and safety rules
- Conduct patient appointment reminders
