Our clinics in Bundaberg are currently seeking a Medical Receptionist to join the team on a full-time basis. Working between our IWC clinic and the Friendly Society Private Hospital with core hours between 7am-5:30pm

Role Overview: As a Medical Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth clinic operations.
Your responsibilities will include:Patient Interaction:
- Greet patients and other callers professionally and courteously.
- Assist patients with appointment scheduling.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Excellent communication skills.
- Intermediate computer skills (knowledge of medical software and Microsoft Office Suite).
Responsibilities:
ADMINISTRATIVE TASKS:
- Manage medical records confidentially and efficiently.
- Process patient payments (cash, Eftpos, direct billing).
- Invoice Medicare, Private Health Funds, TAC/CTP, DVA and Workcover.
- Handle internal emails and inquiries.
- Maintain a tidy reception waiting area.
