As a Medical Receptionist, you’ll be at the heart of our patient experience, creating a warm and welcoming environment.
Our Central Brisbane clinics are currently seeking a Medical Receptionist to join the team on a full-time basis, working rotating shifts, Monday to Friday between 7.30am and 5.30pm. You will be rostered to work across the Fortitude Valley, SO+GI, Ascot and Chermside clinics.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Prior experience working as a radiology receptionist will be highly advantageous but not essential.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Intermediate computer skills

Responsibilities:
As a Medical Receptionist, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring smooth clinic operations. Your responsibilities will include:

- Patient Interaction:
- Greet patients and other callers professionally and courteously.
- Assist patients with appointment scheduling.
- Administrative Tasks:
- Manage medical records confidentially and efficiently.
- Process patient payments (cash, Eftpos, direct billing).
- Invoice Medicare, Private Health Funds, TAC, DVA and Workcover.
- Handle internal emails and inquiries.
- Maintain a tidy reception waiting area.
- Collaboration:
- Work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Communicate with referring doctors and hospital staff courteously.
- Ensure accurate storage and retrieval of patient and practice records.
- Confidentiality:
- Maintain patient personal and financial information confidentiality.
- Complete recalls and follow privacy protocols.
