Sunshine Coast Radiology is part of the Imaging Queensland and Integral Diagnostic group, one of the largest Radiology providers in Australia with practices located in Queensland, Victoria, WA and New Zealand. Across Queensland, we currently operate quality assured practices that provides Medical Imaging and Radiology services in from Sunshine Coast, Moreton Bay and Central Queensland.
About the Role
Sunshine Coast Radiology is seeking a full time Receptionist in Radiology who values teamwork with a high regard for quality patient care to be part of our team at our brand new Noosa practice!
Situated in the heart of the Noosa’s business region, this clinic will boast a strong local referral base of GPs’, oncology and specialists providing comprehensive services of general diagnostic, ultrasound, MRI and Interventional as well as a digital PET CT bringing much needed high end quality healthcare to the Noosa region.
As the first point of contact for our patients, your key responsibilities are:
- First impression of the practice as you meet and greet patients at the front desk
- Book patient appointments including applying your knowledge of medical rules
- Patient account processing to including cash handing, Medicare and Health funds
- Participate in staff meetings and company training sessions
- Comply with procedures, policies, regulations, and standards which impact upon the position and the Radiology Department
- Liaise with referrers, doctors, patients for delivery of patient medical results

About You
- Experience in a Medical, Health or Radiology (x-ray) practice
- Excellent presentation, a high level of communication and patient care skills - a positive attitude is a must!
- A can-do approach that builds rapport with patients, staff and Doctors easily
- Excellent administration, computer skills and data entry – previous experience with booking program ideally
- An eye for detail and the need to do things right
- Integrity, respect and professionalism
- Medicare knowledge and medical billing would be advantageous
