JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing front desk operations in a fast-paced medical environment, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for patients while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations. This role is crucial in supporting the overall efficiency of our medical office.
SKILLS
- Proficiency in operating phone systems and medical office equipment.
- Strong clerical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Familiarity with insurance verification processes within a medical setting.
- Experience working in a hospital, medical office, or dental clinic preferred.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality is maintained.
- Experience with Nextech or similar medical software is highly desirable.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with patients from various backgrounds.
