Agent de liaison en sciences médicales, Ontario & Québec
Nous recherchons un(e) agent de liaison en sciences médicales bilingue français/anglais pour établir, gérer et maintenir des relations avec les experts externes et les principaux intervenants en Ontario et au Québec (Canada). En tant qu’agent de liaison en sciences médicales, vous serez responsable de mener des échanges scientifiques fiables et impartiaux sur le terrain avec les principaux intervenants, les experts externes et différentes organisations, conformément aux stratégies des Affaires médicales. Vous relèverez du directeur des affaires médicales pour le Canada. Vous devez faire preuve d’un niveau élevé de connaissances scientifiques et médicales, d’intégrité professionnelle et de respect des normes éthiques dans toutes vos interactions. Vous ferez partie d’une entreprise mondiale, spécialisée dans les vaccins, engagée à améliorer et à sauver des vies grâce à des vaccins innovants.

Vos responsabilités

• Établir, gérer et maintenir des relations avec les experts externes pertinents en médecine du voyage et en santé publique en Ontario et au Québec par le biais d’échanges scientifiques réguliers
• Faire preuve de perspicacité médicale pour garantir l’utilisation sûre et efficace des vaccins de BN, en collaborant avec les intervenants, tant externes qu’internes, tout en restant aligné sur le Plan médical
• Identifier des experts externes supplémentaires pour de futures collaborations médicales stratégiquement importants pour l’entreprise
• Fournir des réponses aux demandes d’informations scientifiques provenant de leaders scientifiques et de la communauté médicale
• Assister régulièrement à des conférences, des symposiums et des réunions scientifiques/cliniques pour représenter Bavarian Nordic et partager les données concurrentielles
• Soutenir les chercheurs potentiels dans la soumission d’études à l’initiative de l’investigateur
• Fournir un soutien scientifique et spécifique aux produits et assurer la formation des nouveaux employés et des membres des équipes fonctionnelles

• Diplôme académique avancé en médecine, biologie, pharmacie ou toute autre discipline liée à la médecine (par exemple MSc, PhD, PharmD, MD)
• Maîtrise de l’anglais et du français, à l’écrit comme à l’oral
• Grande capacité à comprendre, interpréter et expliquer des détails scientifiques et médicaux complexes
• Excellentes compétences en réseautage
• Excellentes compétences interpersonnelles et de travail en équipe
• Sens de l’éthique et de la conformité irréprochable
• Grand sens des responsabilités et capacité à travailler de manière autonome
• Volonté et capacité de voyager à l’intérieur et à l’extérieur du pays au moins 50% du temps, y compris les soirs et les week-ends
• Résider actuellement en Ontario ou au Québec, avec le droit légal de travailler au Canada
• Pour ce poste basé sur le terrain, un permis de conduire valide est requis
• Expérience dans les affaires médicales en lien avec l’immunologie ou les vaccins est un atout

Medical Science Liaison, Ontario & Quebec
We are looking for a French/English bilingual Medical Science Liaison to help establish, manage, and maintain relationships with relevant external experts and key stakeholders in Ontario and Quebec, Canada. As our Medical Science Liaison, you will be responsible for conducting trusted, unbiased scientific exchange in the field with prioritized stakeholders, key external experts and advocacy organizations in support of Medical Affairs’ strategies. You will report directly to the Director, Medical Affairs for Canada. You must demonstrate an elevated level of both scientific and medical knowledge, professional integrity and ethical standards for all interactions. You will be part of a global and fully integrated vaccine company committed to improving and saving lives through innovative vaccines.

Your Responsibilities

• Establish, manage, and maintain relationships with relevant external experts in travel medicine and public health in Ontario and Quebec through regular scientific exchange
• Apply medical acumen to ensure the safe and effective use of BN vaccines through impactful scientific interactions and support of key external and internal stakeholders in alignment to the Medical Plan
• Identify additional external experts for future collaboration in disease states of strategic importance for the company
• Provide answers to scientific requests for information, in response to unsolicited requests from scientific leaders and the medical community
• Regularly attend conferences, symposia, and scientific/clinical meetings to represent Bavarian Nordic and report back on competitive intelligence
• Support potential investigators in submitting investigator-initiated studies
• Provide scientific and product-specific support and training to new employees and cross-functional team members

Skills & Requirements:

• Advanced academic degree in medicine, biology, pharmacy, or other medical-related discipline (e.g. MSc, PhD, PharmD, MD)
• Fluent in written and spoken English and French
• Highly developed ability to understand, interpret, and explain complex scientific and medical details
• Excellent network builder
• Excellent interpersonal and team-working skills
• Irreproachable attention to ethics and compliance
• Great sense of accountability and ability to work independently
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally at least 50% of the time with evenings and weekends involved
• Currently living in Ontario or Quebec, with the legal right to work in Canada
• A valid driver’s license is required for this field-based position
• Relevant Medical Affairs experience related to immunology or vaccines is preferred
