Medical science liaisons are field-based medical affairs ambassadors who engage with scientific experts and others in the medical community to understand external research/clinical needs, respond to unsolicited questions, and foster a two-way scientific dialogue.
Medical science liaisons are valuable resources to Lilly because they identify opportunities for research collaborations, support medical initiatives, and share unique insights based on their interactions with scientific experts and knowledge of the external medical/scientific environment to better inform Lilly’s strategic direction for research and commercialization.
By facilitating scientific dialogue between the industry and the scientific expert community, medical science liaisons have the opportunity to improve patient outcomes by providing needed information that addresses important clinical and scientific questions.
DEMONSTRATES DEEP SCIENTIFIC KNOWLEDGE.
- Possesses detailed scientific and clinical knowledge of TAs, disease states, and therapeutic options.
- Effectively communicates complex scientific concepts and information.
- Leverages scientific and clinical knowledge to engage customers in scientific exchange in areas of strategic focus at Lilly.
- Identifies and/or develops potential solutions to address needs formedical information.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Pharmaceutical Industry experience (min 5 years)
- University degree or PhD in Health Sciences or medically related field
- Knowledge and Experience in Diabetes would be an advantage
- English proficiency
