Description:

RESPONSABILITIES

  1. Maintaining, updating and disseminating scientific knowledge
  • Disseminate scientific information (Face to face meetings, clinical sessions, round tables, etc.) Disseminate this knowledge as appropriate to HCPs in response to requests, in accordance with applicable laws.
  • Proactively provide fair, balanced and transparent medical and scientific information exchange in disease area management.
  • Identify and generate insights through the scientific information exchange from the different interactions.
  • Contribute to/implement medical education programs in the field
  • Contribute to the scientific publication program, if required.
  • Maintain medical profiling database of HCPs and KOLs
  • Map the scientific expertise: identify and allocate in the disease area accordance with the Global MSL Directive and the TL Tiering Process
  • Identify HCPs/ KOLs profiles for different IPSEN events
  • Identification and initiation of opportunities to fulfil these needs.Identify and invite KTL and appropriately qualified HCP participation in Advisory Boards
  1. Inform KOLs and HCPs in IPSEN disease areas
  • Identify field opportunities for IPSEN disease areas Organise and participate in the distribution and presentation of non-promotional materials.
  • Provide scientific/educational presentations to HCP.
  • Organise satellite symposia in Regional (in‐country) congresses.
  1. Involvement with clinical research studies
  • Coordinate and facilitate unsolicited Investigator‐Sponsored Study (ISS) requests from submission until completion, presentation, and publication, in alignment with Medical Affairs’ objectives
  • Support the R&D projects and Company Sponsored Studies (CSS) operations (investigators site identification and evaluation, feasibility studies, recruitment, investigator meetings, external expert identification, study management, investigators query) when appropriate.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Biomedical, Scientific University education ideally to post-graduate degree level -
  • Medical/paramedical Practice or Research career (hospital and/or hospital related, university research, pharmaceutical industry research or medical affairs).
  • Desirable proven experience and successful track record as an MSL or medical department professional in a previous company.
  • Neuroscience background will be a plus
  • Expert/fluent communicator in their local language and excellent knowledge of written and spoken scientific English.
