MAINTAIN AND EFFECTIVELY COMMUNICATE DEEP SCIENTIFIC KNOWLEDGE

You will be required to engage in continuous learning to maintain the highest level of technical expertise within the therapeutic area of neuroscience. This will enable you to answer scientific questions and establish yourself as a reliable, trusted, resource of unbiased, accurate, up-to-date, medical and scientific knowledge requested and desired by the neurologists.

• Respond to external customer questions and needs, including escalations by Med Info & Sales in accordance with company-wide requirements for responding to unsolicited requests for information
• Develop and maintain collaborations and relationships with relevant professional societies & patient organizations
• Deliver scientific, educational, and promotional presentations internally and to customers
• Support the development of slide sets
• Critically read and evaluate relevant medical literature to be current in the therapeutic area

EDUCATION & MEDICAL EXPERIENCE

• Master degree in Sciences
• PhD is an asset
• Experience in neuroscience is an asset
• Experience in Medical Affairs or at the customer interface is an asset
• Previous experience with launches is an asset

Demonstrated Skills

• Strong external focus, including high emotional intelligence and the ability to engage in professional relationship building and networking
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Fluent in French, Dutch and English
• Excellent presentation skills
• Ability to ‘translate’ scientific data into meaningful and clear content for customer communications and engagement
• Expertise in literature identification and evaluation
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Effective planning & project management skills and pro-activity
• Self-directed and able to work alone effectively managing multiple priorities and projects
• Commercial/business acumen and contribution
• Proficiency in computer skills
• Learning agility to comprehend and effectively communicate large amounts of complex scientific content in a clear and concise way
• Effective strategic and critical thinking to analyze, assess and evaluate information and interpret impact or relevance to future states
