Description:

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

As a Medical Science Liaison, you will engage in discussions in specific disease areas, collecting external insights on current medical practice and therapeutic approaches. You will provide a high level of field medical and scientific input, anticipating future needs and planning to fill evidence gaps. You will work in collaboration with other Medical Affairs team members to develop a high-quality field medical plan. Delivering educational programs related to disease awareness, preferably through the development of scientific partnerships, will be a key part of your role. You will also collaborate with internal stakeholders: providing training, supporting research teams and being a critical player within the team. Together with other Medical teams (Clinical Operations and Evidence Generation), you will support clinical research activity in the corresponding therapeutic area.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Advanced scientific degree in a relevant scientific discipline (ex: Medicine, Pharmacy or disease related science)
  • Preferentially experience of working in the pharmaceutical industry, as MSL or within Medical Affairs Professional.
  • Previous Medical Science Liaison experience
  • Native level of Portuguese and fluent English

DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Project management skills: able to plan, execute, promote scientific exchanges with scientific community and monitoring their own project.
  • High-level of scientific knowledge and ability to analyze and process clinical and scientific data
  • Previous experience in Lung Cancer / GI Cancer or oncology would be highly regarded.
