ABOUT YOU

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Experience in day oncology/haematology or a similar inpatient setting (advantageous).
  • Knowledge of Medicare, DVA, and private health insurance processes.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • A proactive, personable, and enthusiastic attitude.
  • A basic understanding of medical terminology and proficiency in Word and Excel.

As part of the team, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our day hospital. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Welcoming patients, collecting details, and completing admission paperwork.
  • Scheduling appointments and preparing consult rooms for clinical sessions.
  • Assisting patients with financial processes, including invoicing, billing, and health fund checks.
  • Monitoring patient care pathways and ensuring excellent communication throughout their journey.
  • Supporting general administrative tasks, including correspondence, discharge procedures, and telephone inquiries
