JOB OVERVIEW

Seeking a medical secretary for a surgical office.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience as a medical office setting is preferred.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records systems; experience with accuro is highly desirable.
  • Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
  • Familiarity with phone systems and front desk operations in a healthcare environment.
  • Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
  • A commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality
    Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
    Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 40 per week

Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients and visitors at the front desk, providing excellent customer service and assistance.
  • Manage phone systems to handle incoming calls, schedule appointments, and address patient inquiries.
  • Maintain and update electronic medical records (EMR) accurately, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations. Knowledge of accuro helpful.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing office supplies.
  • Assist with billing and OR bookings
