The Wessex Neurological Centre (WNC) is looking for someone with an eye for detail, the ability to develop and refine processes and the confidence to work with a busy team of consultants and junior doctors. You would be joining a large, vibrant department and working with consultants, junior doctors, administrators, and management to ensure that all aspects of medical staffing are up to date and accurate. There will definitely never be a dull moment and along the way you will learn a lot about neurosciences.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting with preparing, maintaining, and implementing medical staffing rotas, foreseeing any issues and finding resolutions in a timely manner.
  • Managing all sickness, annual leave, study leave and other leave requests, queries and processes.
  • Organising and overseeing doctors’ induction days.
  • Processing and overseeing all WLI and locum claims, ensuring all vacant shifts are covered via NHSP and Rotawatch is kept up to date with relevant on-call information.
  • Being the point of contact for all medical staffing queries from medical teams, HR, Management and any other areas who require information.
