Medical Support Analyst

£27,000 - £35,000 FULL TIME SALARY

Regular Monday to Friday daytime hours available with General & Medical, a well-established
family-run company who specialise in Health Insurance. We are looking for a Medical Support
Analyst with experience in complex medical reports to work as part of a growing department within
our insurance claim assessment process. The successful candidate will require a thorough
understanding of handling sensitive communications, both verbal and written, gained through
previous employment experience. You will work across the team with more technical and complex
issues, engaging with treatment facilities, assessing medical communications and enhancing the
team’s wider understanding of medical practice and terminology. You will demonstrate excellent
organisational skills, establish key internal relationships engaging with the liaison and claim teams,
helping to develop and support organisational goals.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE - REQUIRED

• Proven experience working with medical reports and communications.
• Strong knowledge of medical practice and terminology.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for engagements with treatment facilities.
• Experience of working in a fast-paced environment and capable of building relationships.
• Ability to organise and prioritise as required in order to meet deadlines.
• Professional approach to represent the Company as necessary.
