Under the direct supervision of an RN, the Medication Aide performs medication administration and prescriber-ordered treatments.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement
- Upon hire: Washington Nursing Assistant Certification License
- Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- Upon hire: Medication Assistant Certification Endorsement
- Upon hire: Successfully pass NCSBN Medication Assistant Certification exam
- 1 year experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1 year experience as a MAC in a health care setting
