Description:
A versatile role as Grant Advisor in our dynamic and international pre-award team. Teaming up with world-leading researchers, you get to set out funding strategies, co-write applications and secure funding for projects that can improve healthcare.
DIT GA JE DOEN
We are looking for an experienced Grant Advisor who is familiar with the (inter)national grant landscape, and can help researchers navigate through the maze of funding opportunities and regulations. Our ideal candidate takes the driver’s seat in informing researchers about new and fitting funding opportunities, and helps them write winning grant proposals. You have a track record of successfully managing consortia and writing awarded grant applications. You have strong writing and communication skills, an ambitious winning attitude, and a strong eye for detail. We’re looking for a colleague who is eager to get things done, but also knows how to have a good laugh after the deadlines. You want to further develop your writing and advising skills and succeed in this role.
As Grant Advisor, you have a leading role in the development of complex national and international grant applications together with the principal investigator (and their partners). You will be in charge of managing grant preparation from the idea phase to the final submission. You will take the lead in guiding the content of the proposal and the writing process, and are responsible for co-writing parts of the proposal and turning it into a high quality application. You will become the primary contact person for at least one of our six strategic themes. You proactively keep yourself up-to-date with the (scientific) developments in the strategic theme and proactively contact researchers with appropriate funding opportunities, identifying and consolidating on fitting funding strategies. Within the F&S team you will be a sparring partner for your direct peers.
