Description:

YOUR WORKPLACE

Enexis Netbeheer, part of the Enexis Group, serves the electricity and gas needs of over three million households and businesses in the Netherlands. You’ll be joining us at an exciting moment: the energy transition is actively reshaping our organization. Projects such as smart maintenance, energy feedback systems, gas-free homes, and wind power generation are just a few examples of what we are diligently working on every day. This means there are numerous processes where your contributions can make a significant impact.
You’ll be part of a permanent team within the young, fast-growing Alfabet chain, which currently comprises eleven teams. These teams collaborate using the agile (SAFe) methodology, and each team operates autonomously. This autonomy keeps the work engaging and the team remarkably adaptive. The department’s atmosphere is open-minded and relaxed, giving everyone the freedom to express ideas, ensuring we keep each other challenged and inspired.

Responsibilities:

We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic team player for Team Basalt, someone who communicates easily with others and embraces new challenges. Your eagerness to learn will enable you to quickly integrate into the team and keep up-to-date with the latest techniques. Team Basalt’s mission is to develop new foundations that consolidate various data sources into a single source of truth. We approach this mission with a lot of energy and a healthy dose of humor.
Team Basalt was formed to meet the demand for several cross-team services that provide a reliable foundation for congestion management. As a team still in development, there are numerous opportunities and freedoms available.
Your role will involve building diverse solutions to tackle congestion management challenges at Enexis, employing Agile/Scrum methods. Given that you will be developing fundamental (data) services for Enexis, a keen eye for quality and robustness is essential. You’ll help design and write Python code to transform data from various sources into comprehensive APIs, which will be utilized by several teams within Enexis.
Together, we aim to add real value and make a significant impact on the energy transition
