As a Member Contact Representative, you will be able to use your excellent communication skills to provide professional and personalized service to our Members/Customers. You will have the opportunity to showcase your success and earn incentives when you meet monthly sales/service goals. In addition, you have the satisfaction of helping our members/customers while learning and growing with in the Financial Services industry.

On a daily basis you will- Answer incoming telephone calls and assist members with any of the following:

  • Resolving problems
  • Cross-selling credit union products
  • Rate quotations/negotiations
  • Researching account informationOrdering checks, statements and check copies

QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES, AND SKILLS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • a working knowledge of customer service procedures at the Credit Union preferred
  • very effective oral communications skills and patience to work with the public
  • basic accounting skills sufficient to process and balance accounts
  • strong personal computer skills, especially data entry
  • must be able to cross-sell products and services

  • quoting blue book rates
  • ordering checks
  • ordering statements and check copies
  • calculating and quoting dividends (interest) and loan payments
  • paying off loans
  • payroll deductions
  • providing general information
  • setting up automatic transfers
  • advising member of investment opportunities or options
  • referring the opening, adjusting and closing of accounts
  • cross-selling Credit Union products
  • other duties as assigned.
