As a Member Contact Representative, you will be able to use your excellent communication skills to provide professional and personalized service to our Members/Customers. You will have the opportunity to showcase your success and earn incentives when you meet monthly sales/service goals. In addition, you have the satisfaction of helping our members/customers while learning and growing with in the Financial Services industry.
On a daily basis you will- Answer incoming telephone calls and assist members with any of the following:
- Resolving problems
- Cross-selling credit union products
- Rate quotations/negotiations
Researching account informationOrdering checks, statements and check copies
QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES, AND SKILLS
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- a working knowledge of customer service procedures at the Credit Union preferred
- very effective oral communications skills and patience to work with the public
- basic accounting skills sufficient to process and balance accounts
- strong personal computer skills, especially data entry
- must be able to cross-sell products and services

- quoting savings and loan rates
- quoting blue book rates
- ordering checks
- ordering statements and check copies
- calculating and quoting dividends (interest) and loan payments
- paying off loans
- payroll deductions
- providing general information
- setting up automatic transfers
- advising member of investment opportunities or options
- referring the opening, adjusting and closing of accounts
- cross-selling Credit Union products
- other duties as assigned.
