Description:
Maine Savings Federal Credit Union has an opening for a dynamic Member Service Rep/Loan Officer - Teller in our Corinth office. The ideal candidate will be a strong team player with the desire to offer superior service. We are looking for candidates who are positive, upbeat, and professional. Previous experience in customer service, financial services, and the Episys Core Processing system will make your application stand out. This is a 40 hour/week position.
This position will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following types of transactions and duties, such as:
- Assisting members in identifying their financial needs and contributing toward the success of Maine Savings by recommending products and services.
- Gaining an understanding of the financial industry and begin to contribute toward the success of members and Maine Savings.
- Processing transactions for members in a prompt, efficient, accurate, courteous and professional manner.
- Providing outstanding member service, reach effective solutions, and follow through with members for all inquiries.
- Maintaining accurate cash and transaction records.
- Maintaining awareness of current fraud alerts and identify fraudulent activity.
- Utilizing non-transaction processing time effectively by engaging in value-added activities.
- Ensuring that Maine Savings is in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- In the course of a day, you may:
- Open and close accounts
- Take consumer loan applications
- Answer questions about products and services
- Resolve member issues
