Description:
Georgia Electric Membership Corporation (Georgia EMC) is seeking a talented and enthusiastic individual to serve as Member Services Coordinator. We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented candidate to providing administrative and communications support for Member Services Team programs, who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service on behalf of Georgia’s 41 not-for-profit electric cooperatives.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college and a minimum of 2 years administrative and/or communications experience is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Pro is required, as well as ability to lift boxes up to 40lbs and load/unload cars and supplies. Knowledge of the electric utility industry is preferred, and experience with graphic and audiovisual communications tools is a plus.

Responsibilities:
- Providing event support and on-site staffing as needed for various programs, promotional events and conferences.
- Maintaining shared calendars, contact lists and inventories.
- Maintaining internal communications platform and contributing to content.
- Serving as backup event photographer and assisting in collection, organization, storage and distribution of photo/video assets.
- Assisting with communications tasks such as proofreading, memo drafting and script writing.
- Assisting with technical tasks such as website/mobile app edits, document creation via mail-merge, online form building and data exporting.
