Responsibilities:

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Developing and executing the localization strategy to position the company in a competitive In Country Value (ICV) position for commercial bids and customer reviews across the MENATI region.
  • Partnering with regional and global segment, functional and area leaders to drive all Oilfield services and Equipment localization related initiatives. Priorities include increased reliance on local vs. international supply chain, expanding local manufacturing capabilities and development of local talents.
  • Working with sales and commercial teams to support localization requirements in commercial bids and develop strategies to leverage localization for business growth enablement.
  • Presenting to top leadership (SVP, EVP, C-suite) to demonstrate business growth opportunities, progress and required support to execute on the localization strategy.
  • Leading complex projects with multidisciplinary teams to execute localization key action items.
  • Engaging with executive leadership from customers, ministries, and other government authorities to discuss countries’ localization priorities and showcase progress.
  • Overseeing the ICV certification process to ensure comprehensive capturing of local content and maintaining valid ICV certification.
  • Familiarize with customer and government related requirements and incentives, and partner with relevant functions from supply chain, government relations, human resources, talent acquisition and others to ensure compliance, optimized processes and to develop enhancements where needed.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
  • Have at least 7 years of experience in Sales or Business Development, Project Management, Operations, Supply Chain or Finance.
  • Have 3+ years of experience with In Country Value (ICV) & Localization (preferred)
  • Have excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Be very comfortable to present to senior & external stakeholders
  • Experience in handling complex multidisciplinary projects
  • Have excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills, and have demonstrated the ability to analyze and resolve problems, influence relevant stakeholders and obtain required support
