Description:
Job Introduction The salary range for this role is £52,942- £57,125 per annum based on a 36-hour working week.
This is a one year secondment or fixed-term contract starting from the 1st December 2024.
The Mid Surrey Mental Health Social Care team are excited to be hiring an Assistant Team Manager to join them. The team is based at Fairmount House in Leatherhead and supports residents across the local boroughs of Elmbridge, Epsom & Ewell and Mole Valley.

Responsibilities:
As our Assistant Team Manager, you will be able to demonstrate both the skill and ability to manage and support the day-to-day running of a busy and dynamic Mental Health social care team, prioritising daily challenges effectively. You will be confident in making sound practice decisions that respond flexibly and quickly to changing needs and emergencies that arise in the community.
In this role you will develop effective partnership relationships with individuals, carers and families and positive relationships with external stakeholders. Supporting the Team Manager to deliver high quality personalised adult social care, with a clear strength-based agenda will be an important part of this role, as will your responsibility for the supervision of both qualified and unqualified staff; managing safeguarding concerns, ensuring that they are followed through as appropriate.
