Description:

An exciting opportunity has risen within the Langley Green Hospital’s Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit and Health Based Place of Safety. We are looking for a dynamic, highly motivated, and inspiring Band 6 Charge Nurse to join our team on Amber Ward. Someone who has a passion for exceptionally high standards of patient care, who is enthusiastic, innovative and wants to work in a service that is committed to providing individualized evidenced based care.
The post holder will assess, plan and implement care, and provide specialist nursing advice and carry out specialist nursing procedures in the agreed care group. They will provide clinical and managerial leadership to junior staff, providing supervision to junior staff and students. They will also assist the Ward Manager in ensuring the effective running of the ward.
We are a 12 bedded ward based in Langley Green Hospital in Crawley and also run the Health Cased Place of Safety. Crawley is situated closely to London and Brighton and benefits from a thriving, vibrant and diverse community. Amber Ward has an experienced team and works collaboratively with other wards and services within the hospital and the wider community.

This post offers the Trust’s £4,000 Incentive for band 5-7 Nurses & Practitioners, as well as a relocation package up to a maximum of £8,000 (subject to terms and conditions).
