• Schedule: Full time, 36 hrs, 3 -12 hr shifts, Night shift, 7P-7A, Rotating weekends

REQUIREMENTS

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Management of Aggressive Behavior credentialed from the Management of Aggressive Behavior Training International, Inc preferred.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Protect and maintain a secure psychiatric hospital environment by upholding rules and regulations for the safety of staff, patients, visitors and the facility.

• Provide patient assistance including de-escalating volatile situations and respond accordingly.
• Assist with the search, inventory, storage and return of patient property.
• Serve as a member of the crisis response team and participate/lead situational debriefs as required.
• Respond to requests for further assistance and emergent situations to assist and manage combative/hostile patients and situations to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
