Description:
The Mental Health Specialist will support the Mental Health Services team in providing mental health and wellness to individuals, families and communities in Greater Cincinnati. The mental health specialist will provide therapeutic behavioral services and case management to individuals and families. Services offered will also include trainings, classes and mental wellness skills groups. These services will be provided onsite at CCSWO office, in schools, and community settings.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, sociology or related field
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Public speaking skills
- Willingness to work in school and community settings
- Understanding of mental illness and preventative interventions
- Willingness to work well with team members and community partners
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Master’s degree in social work, counseling or psychology
- Licensed social worker or clinical counselor
