ABOUT YOU
With appropriate experience and qualifications reflecting a strong background in mental health and safeguarding support, you will have a track record of working with and supporting vulnerable young people in an educational, youth or social service setting. You must have the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people, including with students, parents/carers, you will have experience of managing caseloads, carrying out risk assessments, writing support plans, dealing with crisis intervention and delivering training.

Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for promoting the health, safety and well-being of all learners studying at WKC. You will provide information, advice, and support to learners with a range mental health and wellbeing issues. You will be responsible for providing one-to-one support and referring to relevant mental health agencies. You will be part of a team delivering group activities to promote positive mental health and wellbeing. This is a fixed term role until 30th June 2025.
