Position Summary:
Under the supervision of a chief mental performance consultant (CMPC), the MPC works closely with the head coaches of varsity female teams assigned as well as the manager of the Women in Sport program to deliver services in 2 forms. The MPC(s) will be responsible for developing and delivering various workshops/seminars, as well as providing individual support to the athletes and coaching staff of the assigned team. Each team will receive a predetermined bank of hours for the academic year, based on a needs assessment.
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver group workshops and individual sessions with student-athletes

Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities

  • Certified member of Canadian Sport Psychology Association
  • Communicate in both English and French
  • Have at least 3 years of experience working with athletes (female athletes is an asset)
  • Minimally a master’s degree in Kinesiology, Sports Science or related field of study

(MPEX Grade 05) $70,820.00 - $88,530.00 - $106,240.00
